FAQs
What type of training is this model best suited for?
This is a versatile model for counting anything you like, from swimming or running laps to crowd numbers or balls in a cricket over.
How do I wear a SportCount device?
Each SportCount model fits comfortably on your index finger like a ring. The adjustable strap allows each device to fit any finger size. Just press the button with your thumb — it’s designed for one-handed use while swimming, running, or training.
Are SportCount devices waterproof?
Yes! All SportCount models are water-resistant to 50m and built for regular swim training. Just rinse with fresh water after use and dry it before storing. Sweat from running or other exercise is not a problem.
Can I use it for running or cycling?
Absolutely. While SportCount is a favorite among swimmers, it's also ideal for runners, cyclists and mountain bikers who want simple, reliable lap and time tracking without bulky gear. When you purchase you’ll also be offered a band extender to help attach your SportCount to your bike handlebars. The thumb-tap operation allows you to keep both hands on your bike while you start/stop the timer.
What's the difference between the models?
Some models track just laps, others track total time, and advanced models (like the LapCounter/Timer PRO) store individual lap times and averages. Use our product comparison chart to find the model that suits your style of training.
Is the battery replaceable?
Yes, the battery is replaceable. Most SportCount models use a standard CR2016 or CR2032 lithium battery, which typically lasts up to a year or more depending on usage. When it’s time for a new one, we recommend taking it to a watch repair centre or technician to ensure a proper, water-safe replacement.
What if I change my mind?
No problem—we offer a 30-day money back guarantee. If you're not completely happy, just return it for a full refund.
What happens if it stops working?
You're covered by our 1-year limited warranty. If there’s a defect in materials or workmanship, we’ll repair or replace it—simple as that.
